For every eco-friendly micromobility trip you undertake with MOBIX you collect MOBIX Miles. Each MOBIX Monday, you can convert your MOBIX Miles into MOBIX Tokens – as a reward for making the world a little bit greener.
By inviting your friends, you can leverage these benefits! Boost your efforts by encouraging your friends to use the MOBIX app each time they go for a bike ride or get themselves a scooter. If you use the ‘Refer-a-Friend’ function in your MOBIX app to invite your friends, you will also be rewarded for every successful trip your friends will make in the future!
How to do it?
Once you have downloaded and set up the MOBIX Wallet on your mobile device, you will find the ‘Refer-a-Friend’ tile on the home screen.
After tapping the tile, you will be shown a QR code that your friend should scan. Alternatively, you can select the option to share the link manually, e.g. via a messenger app. The link will lead your friend to the accurate platform depending on the OS of your friend’s mobile device to download the MOBIX Wallet. Your friend should now successfully install the app and set up his MOBIX Wallet.
When this is done, you will see under ‘Refer-a-Friend’ that you have referred the first out of 5 possible friends: in this case you can still refer 4 out of 5. Respectively, you will also see that you have been referred and by whom.
So, keep in mind that you can only be referred once! You, on the other hand, can refer as many friends as you like. Basically, you are allowed to refer as many friends as you want. However, you can only refer a maximum of 5 friends per week. So, your contingent is free again every MOBIX Monday from 10 am CET.
What are the benefits?
For every trip your friend will successfully finish in the future, you will be rewarded with 1 MOBIX Mile! While your friend herself still gets her 5 MOBIX Miles for every trip.
Example: if you referred 5 friends and each of these friends made 5 trips:
5 friends x 5 trips = 25 MOBIX Miles for YOU!
In future versions of the MOBIX app, you will benefit from every mile your friends earn, i.e. you will receive a percentage share. Hence, the more your friends will use MOBIX the more you will earn.
