If you’re unfamiliar with the term ‘multi-modal transport’ then you’re to be forgiven – up to this point the term has predominately been used within the freight industry, and only sparingly within urban planning departments. On the few occasions it has been used in relation to micromobility, it has primarily been used in relation to micromobility providers offering pedal bikes, e-bikes and e-scooters in a single geographical area. At IAA Mobility 2021, MOBIX and its partners BOSCH, Fetch.ai, Ocean Protocol, Datarella, and htw saar presented their DEEP PARKING showcase – a combination of a unique way of making inaccessible parking space easily accessible – thus, saving tons of CO2-emissions through searching for parking – and enabling drivers to use micromobility for their last mile.
If you never had the opportunity to overhear a conversation between Autonomous Agents, this ends today! In this video, you become witnesses of how comprehensibly Autonomous Agents talk to each other, which topics they might choose, and how efficient their conversations are – compared to our human-based equivalents. The Agents aren’t real persons, but rather software code that runs either on a human being’s smartphone or on any kind of computer in the Internet of Things (IoT), e.g. in an electric vehicle, as used in the situation below. It’s a long conversation, the agents have – in real life, it takes only seconds for the Autonomous Agents to ask questions, answer them, agree on things and say Goodbye, again. While watching, imagine you had such an Autonomous Agent that acts on your behalf. Imagine, what tasks you could refer to your Agent and how much more convenient these daily tasks will become!
